Learning Log 1

Learning Log Nuts n' Bolts:

• This semester, you will submit 15 Learning Logs (one in each module).
• Completing your Learning Log is the last thing you do in each module.
• Learning Logs are always due on Monday evenings by 11:59pm (Day 7 of each module). 
• Each Log is worth 5 points (75 points total). You earn full credit simply by submitting one to me each week.
• Your log is read by me and only by me. Consider everything you share in your log to be confidential.

The objectives of the Learning Logs are:

1. To ensure you and I maintain ongoing communications.
2. To provide you with regular opportunities to track and reflect on your learning.
3. To give you a simple way to communicate successes and struggles to me.
4. To help me improve this course for future learners.

How to Submit a Learning Log:

1. Locate the Learning Log for the current module. You can get to each learning log through the Modules area or through the Assignments area.
2. On the Learning Log assignment page, click on the blue "Submit Assignment" button.
3. In the Text Entry area, reflect on the following two ideas for your past week of learning (there is no minimum word count):
   • Rosebuds: What went well? What areas of growth can you identify in your learning? What do you feel good about? 
   • Thorns: What didn't go so well? What could have improved your experience? What will you do differently next time?
4. Click submit.
