Dear students,

Welcome! I have been teaching at CSU Channel Islands since 2009 in the nursing program. I have taught

COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE HEALTH course online, and I am excited about the changes to the course this Summer!

I think you will enjoy the course activities and learn! The two significant changes to this course for this spring are: 1) the textbook has been replaced with no cost digital materials aligning with openCI initiatives to decrease textbook costs, and 2) the course is delivered in Canvas, which is replacing Blackboard for the 2017-18 academic year. I realize this may be different than you have previously experienced, however I will support you along the way! I think you will enjoy the new features available in Canvas. Explore the course materials as we get ready to start. I look forward to getting to know you online!
